[14:00:38] akosiaris: hey! Happy New Year. We want to make some changes to the termbox helm Chart but before I make the ticket(/figure out what I want) I wanted to ask you about why it is the way it is. Why do we not use whatever entrypoint is specified by the image? Secondly: Why do we mount in the custom config file? What benefit does that have over using the config file baked into the image which reads from ENV [14:00:38] variables? The problem is our build step changed which means it makes sense for the locations of our built server files to change. We realise that this means making changes to the chart, but it also means making multiple changes to the chart. For example both in charts/termbox/templates/deployment.yaml#L36 and charts/termbox/templates/config.yaml#L74. [14:05:12] I'm wondering why we specify the entrypoint in both .pipeline/blubber.yaml in the service .git and in the helm chart deployment.yaml for example [14:09:25] hi tarrow, today is a public holiday for a.kosiaris so answers might be delayed :) [14:16:58] ah! Cool :) [14:18:06] it is not urgent; I should probably have stuck it all up in a ticket but my lack of understanding how/why it works made me lazy; enjoy the holiday!
