[00:00:46] rmoen: Hi [00:05:57] Krinkle: Hello [00:07:10] rmoen: oh, hi. I just wanted to say (since I randomly came across a code review comment about code conventions) - I recently restructured the code conventions on mediawiki.org to be easier to understand and more separated from PHP code. Removed things like "do as in PHP unless otherwise noted" and made them stand-alone documents. [00:07:21] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Coding_conventions [00:07:35] /CSS /JavaScript etc. [00:07:43] Krinkle, cool I'll check it out [00:08:17] feel fee to ask if you see anything weird or have questions. nothing is perfect :) [00:08:56] Will do. [00:09:12] Saw one of the Crockford yet by the way ? [00:09:28] I'm watching part 8 now of the "on JavaScript" series at YUI [00:10:36] Yes, I fell asleep to those videos last night, I'll be watching what I missed tonight :) [00:10:42] cool [00:10:48] (the watching part) [00:10:50] :D [00:11:08] although I must admin I've fell asleep during one as well haha [00:11:32] Yeah, it was easy to sleep to, to say the least. [00:12:30] which one were you watching ? the earlier ones are a bit more boring in speaking tone (Douglas doesn't have a typical performer voice) [00:12:48] but not less interesting [00:13:13] Yea, I started with the first of the three part series. Woke up for the Advanced JS talk. Watched nearly all of it [00:13:31] already seen The Good Parts ? [00:13:48] Yes a while back. I'll probably watch them all again [00:14:16] he tends to be very inclusive, complete. which I like. even learn little bits from the beginner chapters. [00:15:14] True. [00:17:06] Krinkle: well, i'm off. it's been nice talking to you and I'll definitely read your updates to the js conventions tonight. [00:17:17] cool [00:17:18] ttyl [00:17:36] ttyl :) [00:37:47] rmoen, bsitu: congrats on the deployment, we even have our first respondent!
