[11:37:01] revi|CVN: AntiComposite: I suppose at some point we may need to think about fixing CVNBot somehow to prevent issues or mask it further by automation.. [11:37:48] My theory is that it's mostly due to SQLite being too slow to keep up in real time and/or due to SQLite being open/closed for every event instead of a bit more lax. [11:40:16] I'm already keeping myself op'ed at -commons 24/7 so I can skip /cs op'ing myself each time [11:40:18] :-p [11:41:04] revi|CVN: you patrol commons through there or doing it for other people? [11:41:27] Mostly for myself [11:41:35] cool [11:42:13] I sort of think there's nobody else tho lol [11:51:01] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Krinkle/Patrolling [11:51:30] RTRC solves some of this, and can hide patrolled entries retroactively. [11:51:57] But the auto black listing and shared watchlist patterns and such would be cool to have on wiki one day. [12:01:44] And even worse; flaggedrevs are no longer deployed anywhere [12:02:11] (W/r/t the first section @ page) [12:09:50] Oh? I thought it's still installed on de.wikipedia and some others [12:43:19] Yeah [12:43:28] No new installs are not allowed, I meant :-p [12:43:37] s/are not/are/ [13:06:59] Ah yes, indeed. I mostly use the bots these days for a couple of keyword filters I have pings for, and occasionally just skim things & catch stuff that way [17:58:55] I'm not sure a bunch of IRC bots is exactly the best tool for this these days though [19:01:59] for active patrolling, swviewer works a lot better [19:25:43] ack, I'm partial to RTRC :) [19:25:55] but that doesn't do cross-wiki like SWMT [19:26:13] but it does include the cvn blacklist [19:26:22] although it is read-onluy, so I write to it from the IRC channel.
