There was a change on the api? Since February 27th I am getting a "badmd5" error and I don't know where to look. [20:48:30] Exact query you're making? [20:51:30] I'm using wikimate to publish some edits, so I don't have the exaclty query. [20:52:50] It just output a "badmd5" code and this info: "The supplied MD5 hash was incorrect." [20:53:07] how often is special:linksearch updated? [20:56:13] That question makes no sense [20:56:19] It's just an interface to externallinks [20:56:36] And I guess the answer to how often is externallinks updated... It would be whever the linkupdate jobs for an edit run [20:56:38] ok, how often is updated such table? [20:59:19] Reedy: and when such job runs? (well, i edited one cite source template where i fixed the link about 6 hrs ago and apart from entries of this template no other entries disappointed from the link list, hence why i'm asking...) [20:59:38] *disappeared [20:59:47] Hi Danny_B [20:59:59] hi Nemo_bis , long time no see... ;-) [21:00:07] indeed [21:00:23] I believe Mz had filed a task about the link updates [21:01:21] At least on the English Wikipedia, the answer to your question probably depends on how often people run touch.py ;) [21:01:42] nasty workaround... ;-) [21:01:43] (If it still works for that purpose after the various "performance" changes) [21:05:26] Cc Savannah [21:13:30] albertoleoncio: whatever query wikimate is sending is broken [21:14:56] It's sending a hash so MediaWiki can confirm that the text is accurate and that's not matching [21:15:04] Without the query I can't really check [22:17:29] On my userpage (https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Operator873 ), there is a link to my website. If you click the link on my userpage, it's being hijacked and redirected elsewhere. I've verified my DNS records are intact and linking from anywhere else works as expected. Some how, the link is highjacked on mediawiki [22:18:25] This behavior is only happening on wikimedia sites. I've since removed the link from my meta page and enwiki page. I left the simple wiki page for investigation. Since this is confined to wikimedia, I think there may be something bad afoot. [22:23:11] i can't find any logical reason on my end as to why either [22:26:24] i wonder if theres other urls that are like this [22:26:52] Zppix: see -operations too [22:52:19] https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ev0L0J1WgAE935z?format=png&name=small anyone have any idea why autocomplete does it in this order? Saw that on Twitter, tried it myself. [22:53:35] Dragonfly6-7: i think its a defaultsort [22:53:51] Dragonfly6-7: some may not have one so its sorting it by L [22:59:38] I'm not entirely parsing your statement
