[18:08:32] Hi folks-- looking to see if someone may be available to help with a input box bug described here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T268696 [18:09:23] Andre and I have given it a once-over but no luck. Let me know if you might be able to review it. [21:33:20] hi! is this the right place to ask about OOJS? [21:34:00] Depends what you're wanting to know... [21:34:57] we will probably send you elsewhere but to know where we still need the full question :p it's like a router [21:35:32] first two: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:OOUI/Widgets/Popups [21:36:18] and another: is it possible to scroll a popup's scrollable div so a specfic element is visible inside it? [21:37:39] by the way, the advice to use #wikimedia-editing doesn't seem to be very accurate, since there's no-one there but wikibugs [21:38:57] Where is #wikimedia-editing linked from? [21:39:32] pretty much every OOUI manual page [21:39:39] e.g. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/OOUI/Widgets/Popups (at the end) [21:40:07] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Template:Feedback/oojsui needs changing then [21:40:30] That channel does have a decent selection of users tbf, just maybe not active right now. [21:41:32] hence the question about where /is/ the right place? :-p [21:42:08] If there's people in there, did you try asking your question? :P [21:42:17] Just because they're not talking actively, doesn't mean no one is paying attention [21:42:22] i did, about 11 days ago [21:42:53] or maybe a but less, can't quite remember [21:43:08] Have you been in the channel since? [21:43:48] I was, but I restarted the computer it some point [21:44:48] The most effective way is to join, ask the question, somehow not close the IRC client and check for the responses a couple hours later. One way to not close the IRC client is to run it elsewhere, not at home, if you happen to have access to a server, maybe where your wiki runs. [21:45:03] because timezones and such [21:46:13] I do know how IRC works, I just haven't got a bouncer working ATM [21:49:01] inductiveload: ok cool, so trying to track this down. from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/OOjs I found https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/oojs/ from there -> https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/members/748/ now you have 3 people with nick name [21:49:14] then you can find their user profiles and from there maybe the IRC nicks [21:49:56] then you can use an IRC bot to track their channels :p [21:50:30] with the @seen command
