[04:14:58] phabricator boards seem not to be working; is there a ticket for this already? [04:15:42] > Failed to load class or interface "PhabricatorWorkboardViewState". [04:20:28] I created https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T230969 [04:33:15] reporting a login issue for [[user:PrairieKid]] who tried to join this channel but got automatically booted elsewhere [04:33:29] Hello...I am trying to sign into my account but the log in is not working. I type in my user and password and hit log in and it just spins. I have read every help article I can find and deleted my previous cookies. No idea what else to try. [04:33:36] note - they're not getting an error message [04:33:42] they're not getting *any* response [04:33:51] which I surmise indicates that it's a server issue [06:35:12] Hello, Is there someone who can help me?? https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Martin_Urbanec#Other_review_tools_-_@newiki [08:51:22] hey, I have a problem to log in to Commons and Meta, it doesnt work. At the same time I am loged in to cs.wp and I can safe. Is the problem known? [09:05:00] Juandev: thanks for reporting it, we're checking [09:06:01] Juandev: what error does it gives you? Have you tried to login from an incognito window of your browser too? [09:07:40] volans: Incorrect password or confirmation code entered. Please try again. [09:07:53] no I havent tried [09:11:46] in other Wikipedias I am logged in an it works prety well [09:12:05] <_joe_> Juandev: I suspect it has to do with the version of the software [09:13:23] <_joe_> I bet all the wikis you can log in are on wmf.17, and you can't on the wmf.19 ones [09:13:42] <_joe_> you can check Special:Version to confirm [09:16:19] <_joe_> Juandev: is your username "Juandev"? [09:19:26] Juandev: can you please try https://cs.wikinews.org from an incognito window? [09:21:42] cs.wn works from incognito [09:22:12] <_joe_> oh interesting then it's not the wiki version [09:22:17] * _joe_ perplexed [09:23:06] and once I go to commons, I am log in and I can contribute [09:23:15] <_joe_> oh [09:23:31] <_joe_> so you get autologged in if you log in onto another wiki [09:23:42] <_joe_> it's just if you try to log in from commons [09:25:11] 1) I had opened incognito in FF, 2) typed in url of cs.wn, 3) opened another tab and I was loged in, 4) I have copy and pasted filename I wanted to add categories and I add category and save it [09:25:44] <_joe_> ok [09:25:57] <_joe_> so the problem only happens on commons when you log in there directly [09:26:05] <_joe_> I'm going to ask you one last test [09:26:27] <_joe_> can you close the incognito windows, open a new one, and try to log in to commons? [09:27:47] <_joe_> I am asking because I can see just a few errors logging into commonswiki today [09:34:31] I am logged in now [09:37:44] I wonder that maybe I typed wrong psw at first, but why I was logged out if we have centralouth? [09:43:33] Juandev: Firefox or Safari ? [09:44:27] ff [09:46:48] so one of the reasons why centralauth might not work is due to the anti-tracking prevention. As we use multiple domains, if you don't navigate between the related domains oft enough, it will forget they belong together and no longer allow the one site to access the other site (needed for centralauth to propagate). [09:47:50] just a thought. [10:05:17] <_joe_> thedj: nope, I have anti-tracking prevention and have no such problems [10:09:01] ok, never mind, thx guys [10:09:16] <_joe_> Juandev: no problem :) [11:36:53] hmm [11:36:54] < birkoff> Hi, I can't login to Wikipedia from my Android's Wikipedia app. I get the message about "logintoken required" [13:15:30] Is there a good way to get cross-wiki data (e.g. # edits by a user to all Wikimedia projects in last month) without needing to do individual queries for each project, either by API or the db replicas? [13:17:36] You can get a total global edit count from the CentralAuth API, but you can't filter by date. [13:23:46] Bleh, really wish we had better ways to get global data [14:58:28] is it possible to delete a catalog in Mix'n'match?
