[16:35:48] Is there an API for suppressing AbuseFilter entries? [16:37:39] That is, for suppressing Special:AbuseLog [16:40:36] Can’t seem to find anything in the docs or ApiSandbox [16:41:08] McJill: have a look at the autogenerated tocs [16:42:09] maybe there is no api for that [16:43:01] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Revisiondelete is all I’ve got? [18:34:16] McJill: The "logging" value for the "type" parameter of that API? [18:34:33] I obviously had no chance to try this, but it looks like the correct thing [18:38:07] Don’t think so, I believe that’s to redact logs at Special:Log [18:38:31] See bottom of https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Revisiondelete [18:43:47] Did Special:Contributions recently change to add ?redirect=no to pages, or has that always been there? [18:44:20] McJill: what happens when "Target" is the AbuseLog? [18:50:32] Doesn’t works that way — target is a page title, used for revision deletion. Per that link, logging is definitely for the log, as also evidenced by the other options. AbuseLog entries aren’t strictly revisions [18:51:29] McJill: per the documentation, the "logging" action may require a "target" as well [18:51:34] McJill: I'd try it [18:52:11] I just tried it in the sandbox but I just get a default "no permission" message. Is there a way to have an actual sandbox? [18:58:48] Abuselog and normal logging are totally separate systems [18:59:01] which ive never understood, but here we are [18:59:28] maybe im misunderstanding
