[05:52:37] hi [14:45:24] Hello, can anybody explain to me what is the purpose of story points in Phabricator? [14:46:04] I'm thinking to use them as number of patches in #wikimedia-site-requests - at my personal board it'll show me how many patches I should add to SWAT window [15:08:43] Urbanecm, they're used in different ways by different teams. They're not personizable, so you'd need to coordinate with everyone else who triages those specific tasks in order to decide on a common definition. It's probably not feasible at #wikimedia-site-requests because that is such a multi-team project. E.g. wikidata team uses them, such as https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T184948#4136086 [15:09:04] (Or if you meant that you want a basic overview of the term "story point", this is the shortest I can find: https://agilefaq.wordpress.com/2007/11/13/what-is-a-story-point/ :) [16:53:20] dammit mailman how often is 'too often' [16:54:59] quiddity, the ability to put a task in multiple projects is always going to make fields like this impossible to use inconsistently everywhere [20:08:18] Mypassword [20:09:16] Hello Loxysdae, how can we help you?
