[08:51:09] hi vf [08:51:25] how do i change the primary article of wikipedia? [08:51:46] i mean.. the primary title of an article on wikipedia [08:52:55] vf are you there? [08:56:59] hello? [08:57:48] i need to move a page on wikipedia so that it can correctly reflect the title of an article [08:57:51] how do i do that? [09:04:53] hello.. i need to reverse the redirects of a page, so if currently A (currently the main article) redirects to B, it should be changed so that B redirects to A [09:25:21] Tech; Zebulon84; /* Custom mobile.css */; https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=15250135&oldid=15248983&rcid=7271562 [09:47:41] hi reukzo [09:47:46] hi [09:47:59] i figured it out.. i submited a move page request [09:48:00] thanks [09:48:13] reukzo: you can just move page B to title A, if you're a sysop, you'll have a checkbox to delete the current page A [09:48:20] ha, okay [09:48:33] (non-sysops can't do this, since it requires deleting that page first) [09:48:35] i'm not a sysop [09:48:43] are you? [09:49:02] on a few wikis, but not at the english wikipedia :) [09:50:08] oh ok.. thanks [14:54:21] Tech; Mnmsperera; /* How to delete my account? */ new section; https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=15251018&oldid=15250135&rcid=7272529 [15:34:40] Tech; Anomie; /* How to delete my account? */ + Unsigned; https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?diff=15251076&oldid=15251018&rcid=7272593 [16:37:19] What is the effect of unblockself if $wgBlockDisablesLogin = true;? [16:37:48] one has to be quickier :) [16:38:55] a disabled user is not supposed to be sysop [16:40:46] yes, of course, but what if a sysop abuses his block permission to block an other sysop? [22:46:05] isn't there a way (or used to be a way) to mark pages as unpatrolled? either through the API or web interface [22:50:03] I guess you can only mark as unpatrolled within the scope of the page triage tool... [22:51:11] MusikAnimal: i don't think there is. [22:51:27] that's a shame [22:51:31] you can only patrol, you can't un-patrol. [22:51:49] I guess being able to unpatrol in the page triage tool is better than nothing [22:52:04] flaggedrevs extensions lets you un-review a page, if you need something more fine-grained for specific articles [22:52:15] (or "pending changes" in en-wiki-speak)
