[18:18:25] bd808 or @here: quick question re: the migration. What is the new host for ToolsDB? tools.db.svc.eqiad.wmflabs is deprecated but tools.svc.eqiad.wikimedia.cloud (and several variations) aren't working for me. Docs still list the deprecated host: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Toolforge/Database#User_databases [18:21:34] AND... what's the equivalent new host for the replicas e.g. enwiki.labsdb? [18:26:17] https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Portal:Cloud_VPS/Admin/DNS#*.{deployment}.wikimedia.cloud gives "enwiki.analytics.db.svc.wikimedia.cloud" as an example but that doesn't work [18:26:48] J-mo: toolsdb is the same still. Wiki replicas are .{analytics,web}.db.svc.eqiad.wmflabs still. The *.labsdb names have been deprecated for 3 years [18:28:43] The db services will probably get new names as part of a new wiki replica cluster deploy in the coming months. I think balloons is working on the communication plan for those changes [18:32:06] got it. thanks bd808[m]. hmmm... still not able to access the replicas or my user db after tunnelling in via login.toolforge.org. I can complete the SSH handshake fine, so there might be something I need to change in my db credentials or .bash_profile? stumped, but I'll keep trying. [18:47:05] btw Majavah enwiki.analytics.db.svc.eqiad.wmflabs still seems to be the way to go. Just confirmed I could access enwiki_p there. [18:49:23] just to close the loop on this... I was able to connect! cheers all [19:51:30] !log gitlab-test give gitlab-test.wmcloud.org. zone to project [19:51:32] Logged the message at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Gitlab-test/SAL
