I’m having issues accessing the page table on dewiki_p.labsdb (db user s51349): ERROR 1356 (HY000): View 'dewiki_p.page' references invalid table(s) or column(s) or function(s) or definer/invoker of view lack rights to use them [14:40:01] Is this intended? Am I doing something wrong? (The query used to work for years, there is no known change on my side.) [14:40:07] !help [14:40:07] ireas: If you don't get a response in 15-30 minutes, please create a phabricator task -- https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/task/edit/form/1/?projects=wmcs-team [14:52:26] hey ireas [14:53:00] could you please create a phabricator task? [14:53:06] yeah that looks broken to me [14:53:30] looks like they've made https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T211016 [14:55:26] Okay, I’ve created a task and closed it as a duplicate. [14:55:45] oh [14:55:50] okay, sorry, thought that was you [14:56:59] no, it was another user who had the same issue. But I did not see your link until I had created the task. [16:40:18] Sorry if it's a dumb question, but if MediaWiki is using binary charset and collation (as described in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T194125), how does it handle sorting? [17:00:48] yurb: that question may get more answers/discussion in a channel like #mediawiki, #wikimedia-dev, or #wikimedia-tech. I think the answer may be that in-database sorting is limited to numeric code point comparison when binary/varbinary fields are in use. I think there are several places where the schema provides a precomputed sort key too. For example https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgCategoryCollation and its effect on the [17:00:48] categorylinks table contents. [17:02:56] bd808: thanks for the answer. I'll ask more specificall in #mediawiki [17:03:02] *specifically [18:07:14] Urbanecm: hi - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/labs/tools/weapon-of-mass-description/+/477203/ has a l10n-manual-review stuff :) [18:16:52] Hauskatze, thx, +2'ed [18:16:59] :)
