[22:19:44] May I ask a question? [22:22:36] Wurgl: Using the . analytics.db.svc.eqiad.wmflabs address is recommended. [22:22:36] And if those are fast for you, that is good :) [22:22:39] https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Replica_c1_and_c3_shutdown [22:22:51] Wurgl: For future reference, always feel free to ask in any wikimedia channel :) [22:23:41] Well, I am connecting to the dewiki-database with host dewiki.labsdb. One big job which starts a 4 a.m. (UTC) ist usually ready at 10 or 11 a.m. But since two weeks it finishes on the next day. So instead of 6 hours it takes more than 24 hours [22:24:01] However, when trying dewikisource.analytics.db.svc.eqiad.wmflabs instead, it seems to be fast as it was before [22:24:11] Is this okay? But I did not understand to switch from. What was the old hostname? [22:28:09] a lot of the hostnames people will use aren't for physical hosts [22:28:13] They're virtual ones mapped across [22:29:59] the hostname tools-db is okay? I need that for the two databases s51412 and s51512 (which are *NOT* on the list to migrate) [22:31:06] yes, because that's not a wiki replica [22:34:14] Sorry, I just maintain two old tools. I do not know too much of the infra structure
