[14:33:28] Hey there! Is there something like templates for creating new items on wikidate? I could not find anything useful about this question anywhere... [14:34:28] maxschons: there is [[Wikidata:Cradle]] [14:34:29] 10[1] 10https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Cradle [14:36:42] that's what I was looking for! thanks guy! :) [14:36:52] *guys [14:44:35] hey all. I am having a weird problem with some sparql query. I cannot get item Q40362 showing up as a result of a query specifying "Africa as" "continent" and "state with limited recognition" as "instance of". Yet if I make a query on the basis of "Athem" I can retrieve it. Anyone has any idea of what could be creating this problem? [14:44:39] thank you! [14:45:31] ps : https://query.wikidata.org/#SELECT%20%3Fcountry%20%3FcountryLabel%20WHERE%20%7B%0A%20%20%3Fcountry%20wdt%3AP30%20wd%3AQ15%3B%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20wdt%3AP31%20wd%3AQ15634554.%0A%20%20SERVICE%20wikibase%3Alabel%20%7B%20bd%3AserviceParam%20wikibase%3Alanguage%20%22en%22.%20%7D%0A%7D%0A [14:45:53] and this is the result that doesnt come up : https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q40362 [14:47:39] that’s because the “instance of: country” statement has preferred rank [14:47:48] and the “instance of: state with limited recognition” statement has normal rank [14:47:52] (the arrows to the left of the value) [14:48:05] and wdt:[property ID] only gives you the best-rank statements for that property [14:48:10] so in this case, only the “country” statement [14:48:36] you can find all the statements like this: https://w.wiki/DYe [14:49:20] or the normal- and best-rank statements (but not the deprecated-rank ones) like this: https://w.wiki/DYf [14:49:30] cheers I'll have a look [16:07:00] Mail at abc@microsoft.com [22:57:40] Any oversighter online or I need to go to meta?
