[08:12:30] Hi folks. Can somebody help me modify this query: http://bit.ly/2EyeC2u I'm trying to get it to give me the original language of work labels for an imdbid [08:13:02] never mind, was using the wrong id, jeez mornings.. [14:59:25] hi folks, [14:59:25] I was trying to write a query in SPARQL, perhaps someone more experienced could help me. [14:59:25] I wanted to get all things/people/... located (or any of its subproperties) in a place (region). The thing is that it returns me the items related to that region, but not related to the cities located in that region. How could I make a query become 'recursive’?thanks [14:59:27] this is my query: https://pastebin.com/Nv4DYybR [15:10:36] mmecor: hmm that's a good question, I don't know how to combine many subproperties transitively [15:11:25] i guess it might be possible to do that with the GAS api [15:11:38] but that's a bit heavy :-/ [15:12:00] didn't know about this api [15:12:07] (gas) [15:12:41] https://wiki.blazegraph.com/wiki/index.php/RDF_GAS_API [15:13:11] in general I have the feeling that we are not using subproperties very often in queries [15:21:01] i'd like to take the best out of the subproperties, yes [15:21:37] i think that most example queries are very precise [15:21:50] precise questions, that just need specific subproperties or combinations [17:48:25] wtf, I opened the admin's noticeboard and got a popup "Your talk page is the place where other editors can contact you. With Structured Discussions, it's easier to start new topics and keep track of conversations." [17:53:15] I got that on Project Chat earlier [18:03:15] I got it on the main page.
