[13:54:19] Hi, I just joined wikidata and have a question regarding relevance of a topic: I would like to enter the information about specific degrees at a university. I want to create an item for each class the student has to attempt to get the degree and link the dependencies and requierements. Would that be okay? I'm sure others could profit from a neat organisation [17:40:21] DanielK_WMDE_ / hoo: Is wbc_entity_usage supposed to be historic or only contain current usage? [17:40:33] Not sure after reading https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Schema/wbc_entity_usage [17:40:48] It only has current usages [17:41:08] ok, than we have some data quality issues? [17:41:51] Well, there are multiple potential issues [17:42:06] It is only updated via the job queue (so asynchronous) [17:42:07] hoo: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/P6344 [17:42:32] what's wrong with that? [17:42:47] That's https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banne_(rechtsgebied) & https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q1981174&action=history [17:43:51] multichill: only current, just like the link tables [17:44:16] forcelink update and this should be good again [17:44:18] * hoo got to go [17:44:57] multichill: same problems like with links tables: they sometimes get out of whack. [17:45:09] if this happens a lot, please tell us, though. it really shouldn't. [17:45:10] Haha, same old shit :-) [17:45:38] Just figured I could use the usage table to make a report of items that are use in some language, but don't have a label in that language [17:45:49] And all sorts of weird stuff started showing up in the query [17:48:27] DanielK_WMDE_: Seems to be all redirects? Maybe some trigger is missing in that flow?
