I can't find help anywhere on where to put in a different domain. [14:27:22] I think it can only be ran on WikiData from there... unless you install the query software on another server [14:37:09] Yes, assuming the second... [14:38:04] How do you change the configuration to allow for it to run queries based on the local install for the local wikibase install? The Wikibase install option is super customized to Wikidata, with no directions for how to domain localize. [15:02:59] LauraHale: You want to run blazegraph yourself for your own wikibase install? Quite sure this is documented, but not easy at all [15:03:36] Librarybase has its own SPARQL endpoint, and tarrow has had plenty of trouble setting it up. [15:14:43] I want to do be able to sparql queries on my own wikibase install. [15:15:48] Can't find the documentation on how to do that when it comes to putting in my own domain, as all the Wikibase tools for this are not wikibase but Wikidata. [15:19:19] LauraHale: the SPARQL queries don’t run directly against Wikidata – the service that runs the queries, Blazegraph, has its own database [15:19:37] and another service constantly copies new edits on Wikidata over to that database so they stay in sync [15:20:26] so you can’t really point query.wikidata.org at any other Wikibase instance… you need your own BlazeGraph installation afaik, and keep it up to date (unless the Wikibase instance is never edited, I guess) [15:21:54] I think these instructions might be helpful: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikidata_query_service/User_Manual#Standalone_service [15:22:50] Thanks for the link. Will pass along to my developer. [15:26:11] Is there anything on using resonator and customizing it on your own install? [18:08:28] mm... It would be good to go through the install process again and document it better [18:11:47] See if you can record how long it takes you each time. Stream it on Twitch. [22:20:49] Does anyone know if it's possible for a user to (temporary) disable the statement sorting? As a reader I like it a lot, but as an editor I sometimes would like to be able to disable it
