[13:50:25] hello, is anyone available? I have a question about upgrading SMW [14:33:09] RQ: just ask [14:36:21] Nemo_bis: I'm upgrading a wiki with 19M articles. When I run SMW_refreshData.php, it seems to be a rather slow script (even without the -d parameter), and I'm approximating that it might take about a year or more to update all the articles. I'm wondering if running that script is actually necessary and if there's perhaps a faster way to achieve what it does [14:37:47] my approximation is based on the fact that it only processed 48K+ articles in about 21 hours [14:43:37] Upgrading from what version to what other version? [14:45:32] MediaWiki 1.22 alpha with SMW 1.7.0.2 to MW 1.28.0 with SMW 2.4.3 [14:49:32] If your data and templates etc. remain consistent, you may be able to just let the pages be reparsed when someone visits/edits them. [14:49:40] (But this is just a guess.) [14:49:52] what do you mean by 'remain consistent'? [14:53:49] maybe https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T60969 still has some useful trick; I don't know more [14:58:01] thanks [21:16:39] (PS1) Umherirrender: Remove eclipse folders [extensions/SemanticWebBrowser] - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/327830
