[00:14:55] [ANNOUNCEMENT] MirahezeBot v8.0 is now released! This is our biggest release yet. Thank you all for your continued support. -The MirahezeBot team [02:22:22] @CVT Suspected LTA 🦆 in #irc-relay needs whacking. [04:30:33] Could you please shut down this wiki? It steals a lot of content from other wikis, and please globally block General I80 while you're at it. https://thenewreceptionwiki.miraheze.org [04:30:34] [ The New Reception Wiki ] - thenewreceptionwiki.miraheze.org [04:31:30] @Inkster since the request is more complex, please request at Stewards' noticeboard and provide specific links to what you feel is "stolen content" and what violates policies [16:29:16] Can you please globally ban this account? He is a huge SJW who pretty much can't handle being blocked and he wanted users such as Kesner, Volutse and Portrock globalled for no good reason. He also blocked users on Common Sense Wiki because of a rule he made up (If you are an admin of another wiki, unfairly blocking a user of this wiki will get you blocked until you unblock the user from this wiki.), proving much that he badly wants [16:29:17] to be unblocked and victimizes himself to think that the people who have a good reason to block him are bad people. https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/General_I80 [16:29:19] [ Global account information for General I80 - Miraheze Meta ] - meta.miraheze.org [16:29:49] @Reception123 ^ [16:30:19] @MrJaroslavik That should probably be dealt with by @Stewards IMO [16:30:39] I have told @Inkster to post this on SN [16:31:24] I haven't looked into this dispute, but my concern here is the possibility that one user may gain a first-mover advantage. There seems to be a long-standing, two-way wiki raid-type dispute, and either @Stewards should handle, possibly with a two-way interaction ban. If it continues, I could see this at CoCC. [16:31:43] Oh, sorry [16:31:45] I didn't read it [16:34:08] Yes, the case is quite complex and is something that would need Steward intervention [16:34:27] Even though GS has more power than it used to, for cases like this when there are clearly two sides there should be more consideration [16:34:45] @Doug well the CoCC would only be involved if the Code of Conduct was being invoked and if Stewards didn't act [16:39:28] @Reception123 Yes, that's my thought as well re: the CoCC. My preference would be to see stewards get involved first. This is a much more than simple spam or vandalism, and it involves two sides, so yeah, GS should defer to stewards in cases like this. [16:39:44] Yes [16:39:56] And there's no clear cut solution the way I see it, so a Steward needs to check it out [16:40:01] yeah
